Anil's commissioned paintings

"Anil's execution of this commission was seamless - he made it flow naturally, patiently working with us throughout the process. He carefully integrated our inputs regarding recreating the ambiance of the Portola Valley hills into initial sketches that allowed us to provide specific feedback. The end result is a beautiful piece of art decorating the cafe wall. It is admired by clients, who often ask how and where we acquired, it and whether it is available for sale!"

This is the first outdoor mural I have done, 14.5' x 6' in size!!

The project started when Barbara, the client, approached me to create the environment where her favorite acquisition of a mosaic whale can reside. It's on the sidewall of the garage where it can be seen from Barbara's sunroom.

2 years later, the wall is now adorned with a mermaid, several baby whales, turtles, sea gulls and otters!

"I met Anil at the Saratoga art fair and really liked some of his impressionist sunsets. I asked him to create an abstract painting based on a print I was thinking of purchasing online at the time. Anil created several versions for me until I was totally satisfied with the composition, texture and the colors. He was extremely patient in receiving my critical feedback and making appropriate adjustments.

The painting is now hanging in my foyer and I enjoy it every day as I pass by the piece."
